Tahiti X is the latest add-on product from Aerosoft, it allows you to fly through the beautiful French Polynesian Islands in Flight Simulator X (FSX).The complete group of islands in this region is spread over a massive 2.5 million kilometers. There are about 14 islands of this region, and 9 airports are given in the package with detailed mesh and with some interesting animations to have a real-world feel.
Tahiti X belongs to the Microsoft Flight Simulator X (FSX) series which was released in 2006, and can run on the latest Operating Systems, Windows XP and Windows Vista. All the airports in the package have been detailed with its runways and enough animations like people moving here and there, talking on the cellphone, etc.
Faa'a airport in Tahiti is the major airport which can accomadate all sorts of aircrafts. Some other important airports given in the product are Maupiti in Maupiti and Motu Mute in the romantic island Bora Bora.The Airport terminals as well as the lush greenery of the islands are eyecatching. The palm trees, house near the beach and the giant stone statues near the beach and those near the airports give a natural real-world feeling. Pod of Dolphins taking a leap near some of the lagoons and birds flying over the islands and boats ferrying near the islands are also detailed in the scenery. The terrain detailing is also fantastic with rising cliffs above the island and so on.
